a) Please pray for the health of everyone at the base. I don't think we've all been healthy since we've been here. Someone has always been sick. Two people yesterday (one staff and one student) caught the stomach bug that has been going around. Ug, not fun.
Hopefully we'll all be healthy enough today to go to a wedding between two of the students here. :D (They came to the DTS already engaged, so it's not anything crazy like they met here and are getting married after two months.)
b) House of Joy.
I should have blogged about this a long time ago. Next to the main building, they are constructing a second building. The foundation, walls, roof, windows and doors are all constructed, but they haven't turned on the gas yet, so they can't heat the house, so they can't do the floors and the rest of the construction.

The House of Joy is a place where single mothers that don't want to abort their babies, but can't afford to raise them can come and live for a year or so and get support, and counseling. Some of them have been beaten. Some of them have been rejected by their families. It's such a great ministry, and I wish I could explain it better.
They need so much prayer. The construction is stalled at the moment because of a lack of funds. The funds that they do have aren't exactly being used at the moment. They hired some construction workers, but the workers aren't doing their jobs. It's too cold in the winter or something.
Please pray for the finances.
Please pray for the construction workers.
Please pray for the girls that are staying at other Houses of Joy, and who will stay at this one.
Please pray for the staff that they would have an abundance of wisdom and love for these girls.
